How the journal works
DisciplineTrade turns your trading rules into a daily routine: rules first, a plan before every entry, an honest record after the trade, and a locked day at the end. Most days take a few minutes in total.
- 1Create your account and rules. Sign in with email. Add the 5 editable starter rules or write your own, up to 7 active rules.
- 2Open the Morning Gate. Before the open, answer three quick questions and read each rule card. Set the maximum trades you will take today.
- 3Plan before you enter. Write the instrument, entry, stop, target and one line on why now. The plan is timestamped by the server.
- 4Add your trades. Import your broker tradebook or add trades by hand. Each trade shows gross P&L, charges and net.
- 5Review and close the day. Tag what caused each loss, write one lesson and close the day. Entries lock; later notes are added with a date.
- 6Look at the pattern. Insights show your discipline score by day and the net cost of each behaviour such as revenge trades.
