Privacy policy

This policy is a draft that describes how the product works today. It is being reviewed by a lawyer before public launch.

We collect what is needed to run your journal, use it only for the purposes you agree to, keep sharing off unless you switch it on, and let you withdraw consent as easily as you gave it.

What we collect

Why we use it (purposes)

Each purpose is a separate switch in Settings. Turning one off is as easy as turning it on.

Where it is stored

The journal database and sign-in are run by Supabase. The API runs on Render. The website and app are served by Cloudflare. Images you attach are stored in your own Google Drive, not on our servers.

Who can see it

Only you. The database limits each account to its own rows. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

As long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your personal data and journal are deleted. Anonymous aggregates that cannot identify you may remain. Files in your Google Drive belong to you and are not deleted by us.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, withdraw consent or delete your account. In the app, Settings → Your data has a button to download everything as a file and a button to delete your account. A contact address for other privacy requests will be listed here before public launch.
