Options profit calculator
At expiry an option is worth its intrinsic value: price above strike for a call, strike above price for a put. A buyer's profit is intrinsic value minus the premium paid; a seller's is the premium minus intrinsic value. A 25000 call bought at 100 breaks even at 25100; at 25250 the profit is 150 per unit.

How it is calculated
Call intrinsic = max(price − strike, 0); put intrinsic = max(strike − price, 0)Long P/L = (intrinsic − premium) × quantity; short P/L = (premium − intrinsic) × quantityBreakeven: call = strike + premium; put = strike − premium
Worked example
Long 25000 call at 100, quantity 75. At 25250 the intrinsic value is 250, profit = (250 − 100) × 75 = 11,250. Maximum loss is the premium paid: 7,500. Charges are not included.
